The Grove Lounge - My Personal Tribute... First aired on Eclectic Plectrum Parade CRMK- 22 August 2007
As a great fan of the late and truly brilliant Marc Bolan and T.Rex (inc. Tyrannosaurus Rex) I have adopted ‘The Groove Lounge as the name of my radio show and the persona of The Groover as a personal tribute. It seemed the right thing to do given that the year of the shows conception was the 30th Anniversary of Marc’s death..
The theme tune to the show is the single ‘The Groover’ and I play and feature T.Rex albums and or themes on each show (see the blog). So if you are a Bolan fan you will have something to look forward to each week. Please email me at thegroover.net to suggest the theme of the show or for any requests or even news items.
Each week the show contains a very high Rexual content and there will be a mixture of the greats of rock current and past.
